WRIGHTSON & PLATT DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

1. GDPR | General Data Protection Regulation

1.1 We do not share customer details with external individuals and companies outside of Wrightson and Platt Ltd.

1.2 All of the customer data held and processed by Wrightson and Platt is strictly for the customer to supplier

(Wrightson and Platt Ltd) communication for the production of bespoke sculptures and jewellery. This data is created and processed at the customer’s request.

1.3 The data we hold allows for the creation of new or replica sculptures or jewellery at the customer’s request.

1.4 If you have subscribed to our newsletter, are a customer or are a partner or business we have communicated with, you have the option to have your data removed from our database. Please contact our team directly on info@wrightsonandplatt.com if you would like us to delete your personal data.

1.5 If you were part of our EU mailing list before 25th May 2018 we have already contacted you to confirm your data choices. If you joined our mailing list after this date, you will confirm your options upon subscription. To update your data choices, for example if you would like to be removed from our mailing list or would like your data deleted, please contact our team at info@wrightsonandplatt.com.

1.6 If you contact us requesting for your data to be removed we will delete your data within 28 days from the day you contact us.

In this time we will inform you what this means for you and your data which is held with Wrightson and Platt Ltd.

1.7 At any time, you are welcome to request to see your data as held by Wrightson and Platt Ltd. Identification may be required.

2. What about cookies?

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer’s hard drive by your browser. Wrightson & Platt may make use of cookies to personalise your visits to our web site. Our cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

This helps us gather feedback so that we can improve our Website and better serve our customers. 3. The Casting

Your casting appointment with Wrightson & Platt is free of charge assuming you place an order for a product or products at or shortly after the casting. Failure to place an order within one month of the casting will result in a minimum cancellation fee of £250/$400 being payable. The price of this cancellation fee is variable depending on the number and nature of the cast taken.

This may be redeemed against the cost of an order at a later date.

4. Prices

Prices are variable and may occasionally change due to the fluctuation of precious metal prices and therefore is dependent on the current market prices.

5. Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates may only be redeemed against orders for bespoke Wrightson & Platt sculptures or jewellery.

A gift certificate may not be redeemed against jewellery for engraving or any ‘off the shelf’ jewellery.

Only one gift certificate may be redeemed per order.

Wrightson & Platt Gift Certificates are issued by and are the property of Wrightson & Platt Ltd whose registered office is at Moorgate House, 7 Station Road West, Oxted, Surrey RH8 9EE.

6. Access rights

You have a right to access the personal data that is held about you. To obtain a copy of the personal information Wrightson & Platt holds about you, you should write to us at the following address: Data Controller, Wrightson & Platt, Unit 36 Brockley Cross Business Centre. London, SE42PD. We are entitled to charge a reasonable fee for this service.

7. Security

As required by the Data Protection Act 1998 “the Act”, we follow strict security procedures and take appropriate measures to ensure that the information about you is not damaged or destroyed, or disclosed to a third party without your permission and to prevent unauthorised access to it. This means that we may require you to co-operate with our security checks before we can disclose information to you.
